Access Statement for Eden House Country Bed and Breakfast, Boncath, Pembs.
Because we want all of our guests to have a pleasant stay, we have done what we could, within the resources available, to make Eden House as accessible as possible. We hope the description of the current situation will enable potential guests to make a decision as to how we might meet their needs.
- Eden House has ‘level 2/3’ access for guests with disabilities, e.g. "not suitable for persons fully dependent on the use of a wheel chair but suitable for those with walking aids".

The entrance to the property is wide enough for two vehicles to pass each other and is not gated.

Eden House stands within its own grounds of 14 acres, affording ample parking for disabled guests’ vehicles. Valet parking is available, if required.
- Persons who use walking aids may easily obtain access to all rooms and areas, and assistance is always available where necessary.
- Rooms are not adapted for wheel chair use.
- All bedrooms and public rooms are on the ground floor and are centrally heated.
- All rooms are fitted with electronic smoke detection alarms.
- Pathways and access points are well lit during the hours of darkness.
- Outside access to the house in which the dining room and guests’ lounge are located is via three shallow steps. If this proves difficult, another entrance at the rear of the house is available.
- All bedrooms are en-suite, with both bath and shower. Bathrooms are fitted with heated towel rails.
- All bedrooms are fitted with a remote controlled colour television with DVD player, hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities and alarm clock.
- All rooms have a private veranda with patio furniture.
- Refrigerated storage for guests’ personal medicines is available if required.
- Guests are provided with a comprehensive Welcome & Information file which includes details of local attractions, location of chemists, post offices and shops/garages.
- Assistance is available with any aspect of guests' requirements, e.g. for moving luggage. The proprietors have many years experience assisting the elderly and disabled and are available should help be needed.
